Welcome to Mandara Designs, where art and passion collide! I'm Nick Mandara, the owner, creator, and driving force behind this unique brand. As a classically trained artist with a love for drawing, painting, and sculpting, I've always had a deep connection to the world of art and design.
Mandara Designs started as a small freelance graphic design business in 2005, serving clients in the Mid South. Over the years, it has evolved into something truly special – a platform where I can share my designs with the world and bring joy to others through my artwork. The idea that people can wear my designs or display them in their homes never fails to excite me!
My journey in the creative field has taken me through various roles, from graphic designer to content manager and art director. This diverse experience has shaped my perspective and allowed me to constantly evolve as an artist. I'm always exploring new processes and learning from other creatives, which keeps my work fresh and inspired.
One of my most notable experiences has been working with Emotiva Audio Corporation for over a decade. As a designer and brand curator, I've had the opportunity to weave my aesthetic into the company's DNA, creating a lasting impact.
At Mandara Designs, I have the freedom to experiment, create in my own voice, and share my personal journey through visual storytelling. It's my playground where I can bring my ideas to life and connect with people who appreciate unique, modern designs that draw from our pop culture-centered world.
Family is at the heart of everything I do. My amazing wife, our wonderful young son, and our beloved pets are my constant sources of love, support, and inspiration. As a proud family man, I draw endless motivation and energy from their presence in my life. When I'm not creating, my wife and I are passionate about animal rescue. We volunteer with local pet rescues and provide forever homes to senior animals, ensuring their final years are filled with love and comfort. Our furry friends are an integral part of the Mandara family and often serve as my unofficial team of helpers!
